What we collect
When you fill out the free week signup form, the contact form, or the coaching interest form, we collect the details you type in, such as your name, email address, cell phone number, and message. If you order gear, we collect the name and delivery or pickup details you give us. We never see or store full card numbers, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How we use it
We use your information to text or call you back about your free week, answer your questions, and, if you join, to keep you updated on classes, schedule changes, and events at the academy. Free week signups are stored in our customer management system, which we use to keep track of students and leads. Your information is only used by Heritage Jiu Jitsu staff and the services listed below.
Text messages
By checking the box on our signup form, you agree to receive text messages from Heritage Jiu Jitsu about your free week and our classes. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or call us at (919) 800-2021 and we will take care of it.
Tools we use
We use a few outside services to run this site and keep it working well and safely:
- LeadConnector (HighLevel), our customer management system, which stores the contact information you submit and sends the automatic text confirming your free week.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that our signup form is being submitted by a real person and not a bot. It runs quietly in the background and does not show a puzzle or checkbox.
- Resend, which delivers the messages from our signup, contact, and coaching forms, and our gear order emails, to the academy's inbox.
- Printify, which prints and ships some gear items. We send it your name, delivery address, email, and phone number so it can deliver your order.
- Stripe, which processes card payments for gear. Stripe collects your card details on its own secure page, so we never see or store full card numbers. If you pay with Venmo or Cash App instead, that payment happens in those apps.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. It does not use cookies and does not track you individually or across other websites.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your gear cart is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you come back, and it is never sent to us until you check out.
Children's information
Many of our students are children, but our website itself is meant to be used by parents and guardians, not by kids directly. If you are signing your child up for a free week or a class, you are providing their information to us as their parent or guardian.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information we have about you at any time by calling or texting (919) 800-2021, or by emailing us. We will take care of it promptly.
